what overhyped garbage... EVERY single plant of this has hermied on me... waste of $$ AVOID!

quite dissapointed for the $$ i spent.. heard from many it was a rock solid strain.. apparently not. lived in sunshine #4 its whole life with gh floranova bloom nutes... 5th week in.. every bud on every vortex plant from 3 diff moms has nanners... pathetic.
and this is in a room with aircooled hoods and 1000w hortilux bulbs... rooms never gone below 68 or higher than 76

really, thats why the other 20 something plants in the room are perfectly fine? flawless logic... bad genetics simple as that.

I've smoked Vortex it's a decent high, I can't say that I have grown it but I did a run on TGA Dairy Queen and got 3 very hearty fems and 2 keepers (well 1 for sure, a second is there until something better presents it's self).
I understand you're frustrated but this is Subs area of the forum, if you want to flame em I'd go elsewhere. I think your post would be better excepted it it was titled "Vortex Hermied" and might I suggest stating facts (such as they all have banners) but withhold statements like "Vortex sucks" or "it's over hyped crap", won't get you very good responses.
I'm not saying you don't have a legit bitch and yes Sub and TGA Genetics are overhyped (add Greenhouse, Barneys and Dinafem to that list) but they do have legit shim Ace of Spades and Dairy Queen are my 2 favorites, Jack The Ripper is legit as is Apollo 13. I have had Vortex (actually got it on donation from Sub himself) you're not missing much, it's good but the other 4 I listed are Great!!
Be cool, act cool, Sub is cool perhaps he can help ya out, but remember to approach it as an adult and be civil!!

idk man... one thing that i've learned messing with it is it doesnt like heavy nutes... how was ur feeding schedule??? my opinion is that its not overhyped. its a really good smoke, but the yield blows... it always ends up a bushy ass plant with a ton of tiny buds... i scraped it and started my crosses of it

just the way it goes i guess. 5 weeks into flower and i have to scrap the whole room because of how many nanners are on the few vortex in the room. what a waste

Jillybean and Cheesequake both threw out nanners for me. Cheesequake was also one of the weakest strains I've ever had, barely any potency. I have yet to try a TGA strain that impresses me all that much, grown by me or not. I think the only strain I'd be willing to grow from them one last time is Chernobyl.

sorry to hear.......i am really looking forward to my vortex....going to flip in a few days.......and this is the first time anywhere i have heard cheesequake being weak.......i don't know about that.
