Vivosun Official 2 in 1 herb trimming tray review

This is a long overdue review for the Vivosun 2 in 1 herb trimming tray that on won here on RIU quite some time ago. I won the tray shortly after a harvest so I had to wait for the next. Thanks again @VIVOSUN Official. I finally had a chance to use the trimming tray with my recent harvest. This will be part 1 of the review to just get the thread set up. Part 2 will include more info and photos hopefully this coming weekend.

The trimming kit came with a base tray to catch any kief that gets knocked off. The upper tray has the 150 micron screen and will be the normal working surface while trimming, 2 pair of trimming scissors, a magnifier card, brush, and instructions manual.

Tip- I suggest wiping the brush on your hand and to pull lightly on the brush fibers to get any loose ones that may fall into your flower or kief. Similar to what you would do with a paint brush.

I have one works like a charm. Have run a couple of pounds through it.
Would like to get another brush.
I use hotel key cards to pull the kief in one place and then use bambu package and key card for final lift into container. The bambu package dosen't have a charge so you can scrap kief off of card.

I just noticed that there is a thin layer of plastic on the base.
Been using it for a month so after I clean it off of kief I am going to pull the plastic. This might help with static charge.

I couldn't find my hanging net. So over the course of several weeks I trimmed a 1/2lb in my bowl trimmer and used it as a drying rack. Once the buds were all dried I dumpped the trim in gave it a good shake and cc chop.

We used the same tray, although not vivosun branded, when I used to work trimming weed.

I then purchased one for home use. They work well to catch the kief.
