Yep, you've got an Indica dominant, wich will mean about eight weeks flowering time. It can take a bit longer though, so be prepared for that. Some Indica plants (White Widow, for instance) take up to ten weeks to finish. She'll tell you when she's done. As for the height - the really amazing part, is that she'll get most of that in the first two weeks of flower! Wether or no they double or triple in height, depends on your strain, and the age of the plant. Say you take a two or three foot plant, that's vegged for three months or more - she is only gonna double in size, come flower. Anything smaller, younger than that, will usually triple.

Thanks DoeEyed, I don't have a clue what strain it is, it came from a mixed pack of feminised seeds that I think I got from the dam. Can't mind where they came from. I also have a bag of Cali Orange that I was thinking about germinating.

I'm not really in a rush tbh just enjoying the process of doing it. It's really fun just wish I didn't have to worry about the fuzz. I'm looking forward to the flowering process.

Wish I could give you a hand Riffix cant you get the mrs to help you lift it?

Ooh so another week of vegging I think then the fun begins :)

Went to the local hydro shop today and really could have spent a fortune, they didnt have any of that anti-smelly gel stuff though so gonny have to order it online me's thinks.

Just picked up an oz of iccy sticky stuff too, bit damp but only had one blast on the pipe and im wrecked already lol

I did a wee bit of LST'ing yesterday and brought her down quite a bit saving head room as I am quite limited in that respect. I was going to change to 12/12 next week but may get another week or so of vegging if I keep lst'ing.

Anyways it has filled up the gaps where the stems bent over rather quickly.

Heres the pics. Looking quite good if I do say so myself, what do you think?

I think it looks good! What sort of pattern are you doing your LST in? Just have noticed looking around that some people just bend it over and call it good, but some people get really into it doing a full corkscrew and what not... seems like a really good option for getting a lot of growth in minimal space!

To be honest Katt I just tie it down where I can and it seems to do the trick. As you can see from the picture I don't have a lot of space at the back either so don't really tie that side down as much but may have a wee try at it tonight. I tend to do quite a bit of LST'ing on a sunday when I do my nutrient tank change.

I'm just trying to keep it as low as possible for as long as possible before I switch to flowering as I've been told that she will possibly triple in size and I don't have a massive amount of head room.

That's cool, it's probably easier to sort of just go whatever way the plant wants to go. I think we will be doing that, it seems like a good way to utilize space horizontally so you're getting that much more plant without all the height. Seems like a better idea anyway than topping and/or growing the plants smaller (for people with limited vertical space that is)

Yeh thank goodness I was really getting bored I hardly go to any other sites other than this one anymore.

I put my plant into flower tonight. It has taken a really big spurt of growth in the past two days and I was worried about my hight so decided to start the flowering process. So fingers crossed this next crucial stage goes well.

I'll put up some pictures tomorrow when the lights come back on.

Hay Zoso thanks for checking out my journal. I'll be putting up some new pics in the next hour or so once the lights have come on.

I'll have a wee search for your journal in a minute, you should add a link to your sig ;)

Ooh a name I never thought of that, I guess they always say you should speak to your plants. I'll think of something :)

How exciting! Lookin forward to pics :)
They will be up shortly Katt, have you started your grow yet? Thought I seen your hubby mention it somewhere before the servers went down.

LOL cheers dude, don't worry about the page skipping, I have my forum settings set to the highest number of posts per page so I only see 2 pages don't know how many I have with standard settings :)

Yeh that PH meter is ok, but I have to calibrate it quite often.

Here are the latest pictures as promised. This is the first day of flowering.

She has gotten massive over the last week and the lst'ing has really spread her out. I'm glad I didn't attempt to grow three plants in this space now.

What do you all think? The new growth from last night is a bit lighter green compared to the rest but i'm assuming its because its been growing in the dark.

Thanks for looking.
