ViparSpectra KS5000 Grow Light Unboxing

...So I unbox the ViparSpectra KS5000 & find that it's packaged very, very well. Another plus in my books. I've had lights arrive damaged before because the companies didn't packaged them good enough. Kudo's to Vipar for the great packaging. The light has each of the Light Strip Bars held good & snug in thick Styrofoam. The other light parts are boxed separately & also protected with Styrofoam. A delivery service would have to run this box over with a truck to damaged it.

When I pulled the KS5000 out of the box I expected it to be heavy like most lights are. This bad boy I can lift with one finger. Gotta love that!

KS5000 is always highly recommended by ViparSpectra and lots of growers. You can have a try and start a wonder grow journel with it!

And here we have the contents of the other box.

It contains the Driver, Power Cord, Ethernet Cord for Daisy Chaining Lights, a 240 Volt Adapter, Hanging Wires with Clips & Ratchet Rope Hangers for raising the light. Everything you need for easy installation.

It just doesn't get any easier than this. I think it took me all of 10 minutes to hang the light, by myself.

Hello my question is, can you run it with only 1 side of the lights plugged in. If you leave the one wire unhooked? Let me know thanks

I’ll take a wild guess and say I think it’s possible.. however it may void the warranty, which would kinda suck.

Thanks for your question. If you only run 1 side of lights, it mean only half lights work.

Please kindly remind that when you set the light dimmer to 25% intensity, the half light is equal to 50% power. 50% is equal to 100% . So please do not dimmer half light intensity higher than 50%. Or the light will be damaged easily.
