Violator Kush...tops so heavy that they topple over...

This is my brothers Violator Kush grown under a 400 watt MH/HPS. Farm Farm OF Soil and Grow Big/Big Bloom/Tiger bloom nutrients used. 7 Weeks flowering and already has the trichome profile that we were looking for. The buds on one of the of ladies are so heavy that they needed to be tied else they will topple over...you can see below:

Just sent away for some feminised VK beans myself!

Were your brother's seeds feminised or regular sex?

What kind of smell are those VK putting off??

I tried to tell him to go a couple more weeks but he was hesitant...its starting to get way too hot in there 93+ degrees so he made the decision. I like to take my time with my ladies.

Vegged under a 400 watt MH, flowered with a 400 watt HPS.

He got the feminized version as this was his first grow and didn't want much hassle. His space is also limited so it would of been hard to fit more plants in there and wait for sex.

The smell has not been as strong as other strains...he is able to keep it in his apartment washer/dryer room with minimal ventilation and it only smells when you open the door...but it doesn't make the entire apartment smell. It's going to be a different story once it's harvested. They have a skunky/piney smell...less skunky than piney. Right now I can't smell much because of allergy problems, but I will get a full description once we harvest.

He's chopping them on Sunday. Ya, too early...I'm kinda bummed out...but hes a grown ass man nothing I can do about it except give him advice lol. He doesn't care about weight he just wants 50/50 amber/milky trichomes...but eh

to be honest they dont need 2 more weeks,
you harvest when you get the profile you want like ur bro said...
if hes not concerned with weight and the way the bud looks now satisfies his needs, then theres absolutely no reason for him not to chop...

just my opinion and i speak from the same experience

they aren't even close to done. they have 2 more weeks of growing before they even start to ripen. then they have another week or two from there.

Maybe next time you should of added more fans so your stems would build thick stalks and not those twigs but hey your getting a lot of bud.

I would agree with the vet.....the bud will taste like crap and the high will last 10 minutes max

learned that the hard way 2 grows ago
