This will be my first journal here at rollitup. I do frequent and post in some of the other forums. Here goes :)

Equipment:
48"x24"x72" DIY grow box with two 4" passive air intakes.
424cfm vortex blower with 6" flanges.
HTG supply Euro air cooled reflector. Fully enclosed with 6" flanges.
HTG Supply 400w HPS ballast and bulb, and a 400w MH conversion bulb for veg.
DIY two site RDWC system with a stand alone res.
DIY 30"x24" SCROG screen with 2" openings.

Strains:
Barneys Farm Violator Kush.
Nirvanas Pure Power Plant.

Nutes:
GH Floro Micro and Bloom on the Lucas formula.

I am still relatively new to growing, but I have had four successful bag seed grows.
These will be the first really known strains. The first seeds I have purchased anyway. Got some good freebies also. Thanks Attitude :)
I started these two plants from seed. They sat under floros for 20 days with 24 hours of light per day. I vegged under MH for 30 days, and we are now at day 9 of the flowering cycle.
I noticed what looks to be the start of some nitrogen overload yesterday. The plants seem to be getting the classic claw look. So I flushed this morning, and will let them go with fresh PHd water for a few days. When I start back with the nutes, I am going to slack off on the GH micro some in hope to increase the phosphorus to get away from what I am sure is a nitrogen overload.
We are at 5.8 on the PH. My res temps run right around 68* and my air temps stay around 76*.

I welcome all comments, questions, and suggestions in my journal :leaf:

Looking great! Remember to get as much airflow as you can running through that canopy. Most SCROG growers pull a fan leave here or there to improve airflow. Pulling fan leaves is somewhat of a religious debate on these forums, so do what you choose. But from experience, I've had powdery mildew problems with a setup almost identical to that because I didn't have appropriate airflow across the plants (and of course it's possible one of my clones came with it). Otherwise, everything you are doing is perfect. 68 degree res temp is fine, (i keep mine under 70 if possible. The cooler it is, the more oxygen it absorbs), air temps at 76 are fine. RE: Nutrients. Lucas formula is fine, but I'd run at about 500ppm right now and work your way up to 1000 max. DWC is VERY unforgiving when overfeeding is involved. A digital PH meter and ppm/EC meter is a must have for what you're doing bruddah (if you don't have one already). Flushing was a smart idea. Now build your nute solution back up slowly. Happy growing! I'll be following this one.
