I'm starting fresh in my grow, so I'm going to start a new journal.

A few things are changing since last time. Still in the same space, but making room adjustments.
Construction of said adjustments are not yet complete, but I can start with the new seedlings in the tent for now.

Currently running things in a tent till the rooms are completed. Few strains started. Mostly Freebies that wont be kept around, and Not on the List.

Next update will be after the Veg room is fully cleaned and rebuilt.
Flower might not be updated until the plants from the last grow are finished up. Might get a finishing shot of the 2 auto's i threw in there.

Those Solis-Tek ballasts look bad ass. Hoping a few of my 4 year old lumateks bite the dust so I can upgrade. I'm close to teh same equipment, 2x1000w, 8" raptor hoods, co2 a/c, etc. Subbed +rep

They are indeed. I love them already.
Still need to do further testing as to the reason, but they push more lumens than my old ballasts did.

I did a little review on them, easy search: solis tek matrix. Not much more info atm than the site gives you, just some further opinions on a few options.

Will be updating the review with some plant results though.

will you be switching to dynagro?

Sorry to disappoint but no. I am most likely done with pre-made liquid ferts.

Either brewing teas from a dry fert, or mixing up some super soil.

whatever works best for each person i know , but , you may as well try it for free.

Thats true. Im sitting on a box of General Hydroponics ATM that im going to be trying out in hydro. Maybe ill get some dyna to go side by side for a comparison

How many plants you doing per light?

really not sure. still up in the air on grow style.

debating between LST'ing like I have and just doing SOG to get more plants more spread out.
anywhere from 4 to 12 depending on grow style.

Currently just have 2 auto's under 1 light. everything else is in veg

New to sealed rooms. Need a new fan to cool my hoods only a 350cfm(its on its last leg anyway). Suggestions on a CFM to cool 2 x 1000's?

Thinking 600-750

Anyone have experience with this, any any similar products?

That's the exact fan I have cooling my lights. I only run a 5k a/c and have never had a heat issue.

Not too worried about the temp. Just want to remove as much heat from the bulbs as possible to extend life.
My 10k barely even runs atm, and im not extracting any heat through the hoods yet..

Small update.

Few plants in flower, but not keeping those strains, so updates will be slim if any.

Have a few shots from veg, strains that are being started for the new room.

Harvested an autoflower. La Diva. Nothing spectacular, flowered under 12/12 so the yield could have been much better. Top nug had some real potential.

Put Grand Daddy Purps and Dinafem Blue Widow into cubes.

Generally wouldnt want many males, but as my veg room is currently my flower room, and my flower room is down for redesigns, my tent is already going to be full as hell, I could stand to get a few males from the group, as long as I still get that keeper female.

Herijuana Jack33's are looking great. Really recovered from some stupid early ferting.
All of my Qrazy trains are going into cups for early vegging in a few days. Will update everything then.

Got a start on the "new" flower room. been at work for hours tearing apart and putting back up.
So far just got the new plastic on all areas of the room, and sealed it all, other than the door.
Door will be completed tomorrow(just panda film with a zipper on it) and then I will update with pics.

Still have to build the new grow table, hang fans, install co2, ducting. Run some new electrical.

And then its on to rebuilding veg....

Oh the joys of growing. I love improving my setup, but the work is just a pain in the ass.
But growing high quality meds for patients takes a lot of work and investments.

Suppose Ill update with the progress on the improved flower room.
