Vibrate Plants Vibrate!

Below is a pic. of my setup...pretty self-explanatory (Day 10 by the way).

Anyways...as you can see I have my air pump sitting on top of the Sterlite conatiner.

Does the slight vibration of this affect the plants?
Should I move the pump off my tub?

Yes mild vibrations will make the plant stronger. Nursery men know to shake a tree daily so it roots are stronger.

The pump is fine where it is. You may even want to add a fan blowing on them when they're bigger. The more the leaves move around(within reason), the thicker the stems will get. This will help prevent your plant from being too top-heavy during flowering.

they look good man .

a couple tips ....vibration for one is a good thing.

i also use DWC

first
i always remove the plastic wrap around my rockwool before setting it into my hydrotton.

also i always set the rockwoll below the top of the net pot. deep enough so that you can put a thin layer of the hydrotton over top in order cover the top of the rockwoll.

no problem man, the only other thing i would suggest would be to consitter gettin a second pump. first of all more air = better roots but most importantly, the roots need air to live , if your active pump fails for what ever reason. a back up is invaluable.

i would say its a similar concept.

usually people just use a fan to blow at them and this also keeps the air circulating givin them a nice even temp throughout the grow room.
