Had a chance to purchase this light but finally i went with MarsHydro. Because i heard VIP didn't have authentic certification.
As we know the safety is the priority.

Pal, you've already talked yourself into buying one. You didn't bother using the search function to see how many times it's been called garbage.

It is literally HUNDREDS of times it has been called garbage. It's OK for doing clones and a bit of veg, but completely useless in flower.

But you've already decided to buy one because it's cheap and looks cool. So go ahead and buy it, use it, and when your grow isn't worth a shit, remember this thread.

Then instead of doing a search again on DIY cobs, QBs, or strips. After they buy the junk paper weight light. They will come post some stick n peel shit strips asking how good they are. The led section is riddle with this dumb shit. I mean they cant even research their light. And they expect to grow pounds of dank. Its unreal. Especially with the mobile and computer technology we have. These posts shouldnt even be made. But people are lazy as shit.

Ever used the search button ? Because that's probably one of the most asked about lights ever. Because it's on Amazon people think it'll be decent.

It's a WASTE OF MONEY and will not give you the results you'd want for flower. It's fine for Veg growth, but so are T5 fluorescents...
can you just buy cob strips because im not the sharpest tool in the shed I have no Idea how to build them. thanks

this is my first grow and I know the diy cobs are better I did a little research on them but I don't think I could build them
So you have the lights already?
If they are the ones im looking at they are 269w each, 3 of them will do the job in your space.

Building a COB light is very simple, but its always easy to say that when you know how.
A better option these days would be to build a Strip build. Its cheaper and pretty simple.
You can go visit LEDgardener for simple easy to follow build instructions.
Then in future you know how to do it of you decide you want to.

People do build them and sell them. But it puts the price up.
There are companies like timber and HLG that make COB lights and board based lights.
There are fully made lights, or kits and folks who will build you a DIY strip build without you having to do any DIY, like whytewidow does.
