Very simple coco feeding schedule.. thoughts

I grow in coco. I want to make things as easy as possible when feeding my plants.

I want to feed once per day by hand.

Alternate feeds - on alternate days.

600ppm-700ppm flora nova bloom from seed to harvest one day...

Then the next day 0.5ml plant magic magnecal+

So basically they get just cal mag 1 in 2 days, then nutes only the other day.

I used this method last grow, but am new to coco, so don't really know loads about it. I've thought that this way of feeding will avoid nutes building up in the coco, whilst making sure the coco is loaded with cal mag, which is important in coco.

Any thoughts on this from the coco pro's?

As long as you feed daily to run off, you won't get salt build up.
Coco should be fed every day.
Never give plain water and never let it get dry.

Most quality coco is already buffered with calcium.......I use tap water and never have to use a calmag supplement.

how often you should water is also a bit dependant on the amount of perlit (or else) which doesnt hold that much water than the coco itself...

so you wanna do this in order to avoid precipitation, or whats your logic behind this pattern?

Ideally you want to feed everyday... and in some cases multiple times a day. I typically feed Ca and Mg in every feed. As mentioned as long as you're not feeding too high of an EC and you're allowing enough runoff during your feeds, you're not going to have a problem with salt build up.

Plants grown using this feeding method of cal mag 1 day, 600ppm flora nova bloom next day

Today I have switched them to just overdrive. 3 Barneys Farm Blue Cheese clones and 3 G13 Pineapple Express#2 clones. 6 dr90's, 1 plant in each, coco perlite hempys.

Not saying it's the best way to feed your plants, but if you're a lazy fucker like me and you fancy just having 2 bottles of nutes and take it in turns daily, save you opening up the 2 bottles a day. You know, don't want to put yourself out!
