(first time to grow)

ok, so i planted my crop in about late december. i have 4 females and of them, 3 look like there beggining to bud. the only problem i see is that none of them are over 12 inches tall. heres my set-up

-each is in a blue plastic cup, like for beer

-they have set in the window the entire time

-i water enough to make soil moist every 2 days, or until the top level of soil is crusty dry.

-no additional nutients where added, straight ozarka spring water

let me know how im doin

-thanks

get them things into bigger pots asap them cups are killing your plants they need more root space they will take off if you get them into way bigger pots

Yeah and the cups weren't full either. deffinately get them into a bigger container although this will slow growth for about 7-10 ten days but once they catch on you will see them babies stretch..maybe a 1 gallon pot size not sure of your room or lighting..

You need more LIGHT... a bigger pot will do nothing for you until you can give your plants LIGHT and LOTS OF IT....

If you guys think I am full of shit... look at this thread....

As I said... that plant needs more light... actually... that plant needs a grow room...

Cheers.... :-P

im not so sure, i have the same thing with mine(dwarf-wise_- more light-less light, bigger pot...smaller pot, the size is about 4 inches tall, with about buds in the single digits, and i think it'll be done by next week...

well i cant use a grow room cause i dont have enough space, and i dont have money for lights. i just need the best to grow the highest quality weed in my window.

and from the pics, how much longer would you guys say it has till harvestin time?

I understand.. we all yearn to grow...;-)

I say your baby has just started flowering... you probably have another 6 to 7 weeks, if not more due to less than ideal conditions...

Do not be tempted to cut it early... I grow miniatures and even 2" clones give me decent dank.. just not much of it...

Here is the first and last pic of my first hydro setup... notice the difference... you are looking for the same difference...

Gypsy FFD pretty much illuded to the fact that his was a hoax in his final pic/post of that thread. Yours is 100%...and so cute...its like a bonsi tree...but wayyyyy better lol I was more light, and more space. You grew your little guy using DWC, and it had 18-gallon tub for its roots to grow in, but all this guy has is a 12oz 'ruit cup for space for the root system which isn't enough to support a plant of a large size. But wayyy more light is needed, Id say add a CFL or 2, have a timer kick them on early in the AM, and have it shut them off around sun set, and let the sun setting finish the light cycle everyday. That way you get the added light, but also add a 1gallon pot.

Uh... I'm pretty sure FDD's was legit...

But mine are.. for sure... and that is not an 18 gallon res... that is barely a gallon...

Still you have a point.. it's hydro and it's got more room...

I am just saying that the pot size is not his worse problem...

He needs to get more light and more food to that plant... the size of the root matters way less than the ability of the plant to convert energy into nutrients...

Oh and that plant will NEVER reach a large size, unless you transplant it and reveg it... it will gorw some, but not much.. it was flowered too early for it to become big...

I cannot say for sure.. obviously...

But let's say you get pretty good sun there... I'd expect about an 8th dried and cured from each plant...

more than that may be possible, but very unlikely...

Best of luck... and remember check the trichomes before chopping, the buds put on up to 25% of their total weight in the last 2 weeks or so...

Do no rush it.. you will not have much, might as well let it mature into some dank...
