It's my first post on this forum and I turn to you for some advise.
I grow weed outside. Usually I have about 10-16 plants in pots. There is enough smoke for me and visiting friends for about a year. I don't know the strain becouse I have those seeds for years and I got them from some old guy who told me that the strain has some centuries of history in our region (middle Europe). There is one sativa and one indica looking strain. Both usualy give awesome high.
Now there is problem...
It was warm sunny year, everything looked ok, nice plants, nice flowers. I only had one male that was removed early enough. Some plants had nice crystals, some not and that's nothing weird becouse I know it's the strain. The smell was gorgeous, buds sticky. BUT there were some seeds.
I usually test some buds before harvesting. This time there was absolutely no effect comparing to previous years. And I told to myself that after curing and drying everything will be ok. But NO! There is no high at all, not a single plant hits. I can smoke 5 joints in a row but no effect and I usually need very little dosage and even mix it with tobacco.
I told you there were some seeds in buds even though I removed the male. But recently I have noticed that there is a huge field of industrial weed about 1 mile from my garden and I think there might be a couse. What do you think?
I also noticed that after drying some of my plant have some nasty herbal smell, not weedy at all! Buds are full of crystals but not sticky anymore. What the hell is going on? I have done everything what I've done previous years. I had some seeds past years too but it certainly didn't effect the high.
I thought I know a lot about the weed growing becouse I make some experiments and some crazy things with my plants but this year I am really confused.
Please, give some advise.
