Very confused about feeding and flushing - on day day 15 of flowering

hi everyone growing 4 plants under 250w of CFL's in 5 gallon buckets.

They are between 15 and 25 inches high.

they seem to only need watering once a week.

I have been adding some Schultz 10-20-10 at half strength every time I water and also 1 tblspoon of mollasses per gallon of water. growing in soil.

I am confused because I was watching videos and they were talking about feeding their plants every other day in 9 gallon buckets... im using 5 gallon buckets so Im wondering if I should be feeding them more often. Also this guy said he would feed only water once per week and every other week he would give them a heavy watering (16-24 gallons of water for the 8gallons of soil he has them in).

so how often should I be feeding them, how often should I be watering them, how often should I be flushing them?

I only know that I should be flushing them and feeding them water only for the last 2 weeks of flowering.

thanks in advance for your answers.

Five gallon buckets usually shouldn't be watered more than once a week. It varies with strain, environmental conditions, watering amounts and soil mixes but you should water after roughly the top third of the soil is totally dry. Fertilizations should be alternated with plain water so it goes Plain Water, let soil dry, Fertilize, let soil dry, Plain water again, etc.

Flushing washes away the nutrients that the plants need to survive. It usually hurts the plants and should only be done when they have been overfertilized or at the very end of flowering. One exception is with plants that stay in their current pot a long time, long enough for toxic buildups to appear. When flushing at the end of flowering, you need to time it right so that the plants are harvested when they need to be watered again after the flushing. They don't usually do well when forced to endure two consecutive watering periods with absolutely no nutrients.

a few things

all mother said is gospel another factor to variation is lights what kind air cooled or those kind you can cook with they get so hot how far away and your soil drainige or i put four to one FFOF to pearlite so it drains faster for me

another factor is bigger pots water less

i use water dry food dry schedule and just give it enough to see a little runoff slow and even

do what works best for you and your set up you should not compare unless the two of you have same everything humidity size pots tempature grow setup other wise dont try to do what someone else does that worksfine for their set up

oh my feelings are dont flush unless plants sick i only flush at end of grow then give molasses and water til trichs say plant is done

experiment a little find what is best for your set up you feel me

im out keep em green bruh

Good Info ^

nothing anyone tells you is in stone, you have to experiment with your setup and see what works for YOU.

do feed every other watering. < just my advice.

and my 5gal bucket only needs water once every 5-7 days.

and i flush once randomly just to help remove any salt build up, if theres even such a thing. could be rumor mill also.

its whatever works. you will get better each time.
