Search "female AC power switch socket" and you will get tons of results. The ones I got were a dollar fifty each I think.

As to placement on the actual TCI strip I wouldn't. The extra Leds will just add more heat onto that pcb strip. I would add channels in between the TCI strips and attach them to that. That's what I did at least with my strips and Vero cobs. Here's a pic so you can see what I mean.

What was the thought process for adding the small cobs? Different spectrum? Not enough light with the tci?

Different spectrum yes. Added a nice bump in the 650nm spectrum. I preferrd this over adding monochrome colors for a better overall spectrum.

You probably Mentioned this... but did you use thermal compound or Tape to mount the lights? I think I'm going to buy a bunch of the 2.0xx" heatsink from heatsinkusa tonight.

i cant believe i never responded! it must have never sent? hmm.

well anyway i used two strips of thermal tape side by side so they would cover the whole strip. I actually think i used 2 and a half lengths side by side and used the excess on the following strip. I think the leds measured to 50mm wide, you might want to check.
