Yes I have believed for along time that potential users wanna see what a fixture is capable of. Quite a few unopened optics . 1600watts that I am currently using CXB200/Vero29s, Osram Zelions,Optics,Heavenbright

New company. CXB200 and let ya know the Name/website as soon as its finished. The Stella optics I like very much. Seem to put a more even intensity across canopy. :peace:
Hey Jimmy. I was doing a little research recently and came across the spec sheet for the Stella Optics. It would appear that they're universal for Vero 18/29, and CXB3070/3590 COBs. From what I can gather, they don't require an ideal connector, nor any kind of clamp, which makes them an all-in-one optic solution (first of it's kind). While they're priced around ~20$ on sites like Mouser.com, they seem like a worthy assist for any DIY'er.

Attached is the data sheet.

Note that when coupled with the CXB3590, the Stella optics reduce the COBs light beam from ~120* to ~72*, which means extra downward force and less overall coverage in comparison to the popular 90* spread.

I was looking at those too. Found them for 9$ each.
They explicitly state that they're not tested with high wattage cobs and provide no warranty on heat damaging the lense.....or something to that effect.

They have to cover there ass with all the varying level skillsets that work withem.
I can tell ya its the best optic Ive ever used on COBs. They take the circular hotspots out and evenenly distribute better than anything I have personally used.

Right. I'm sure they've been tested for your units. But guys running cobs super hard may have problems.

Plant looks great under that light. You did a great job keeping the canopy even!!!!
With my GGL light, through the lenses it projects a distinct line where the light stops and starts. It's either in the foot print and bright or out of it and dark. How do those optics compare to that and others? What distance do you think you could get the plant before burn?

Start to bleach/burn 16inches.18- 24inches is optimal with 100watt 3590s with Stella with CXB200
I know what ya mean about hotspots and overlapping.
Stella is very good and def rec trying.
They might have spacing wrong on the GG? I am just guessing though.
