Vero 29 cob set up lights flickering.

Hey I'm currently running 3 vero 29 gen 7s with a HLG240H-2100B driver.
I've been running this setup for about a year now and I just noticed they are starting to flicker. The potentiometer doesn't seem to be working actuality either. Lights don't get much brighter tell 80% then they jump up.
All my connections are either Waco connectors, or soldered. I have double checked all my connections and they all look great.
I was thinking possibly the potentiometer or bad driver? The driver does get pretty hot past 70%

Sounds like a defective driver to me.

Sounds like your potentiometer is shot. Because it happened to me. try running the light without the potentiometer.

Potentiometer. Same thing happened to me. Take the pot off and run the light to confirm the flickering goes away. Seems like there are a lot of dodgy pots out there.

So, you can still run a B driver without the POT hooked up?

Only buy Bournes or Alps or something good like that.

Quick follow up. Took my pot switch off and the lights are running at 100% without any problems. Glad it was just a switch. Gonna grab a new one today and install that one.

You need 100K for full power.

Not if he is running two drivers hooked to one pot. 50k will give you full power.
