2014 Recap: Last year I had a good year. Had some trouble during the curing process as I always do but boiled down to patience. I was not patient. Did some experimenting involving vacuuming and had some super results but that's another subject. Other than that the 2014 plants were good. Learned a lot and looking forward to learning more this year.

Here is a couple pics of 2 of the 5 plants hanging from last year (Shared some of the left one with Berner)... IMG_0727.JPG

Now as for the the new 2015 grow. I have my outdoor plants cloned and under 150w HPS to get a head start. Last year I got a very late start due to the weather in Colorado last year. Cold weather and bad hail kept me from putting plants outdoors till the end of May and even then they were only about 4 inches tall. Usually I get my plants out the beginning or middle of April weather permitting. I think this year will be a warmer spring so I'm looking at April this year though I don't want to jinx it.

Here is a pic of this years strains. They are as follows...
Blue Dream
GSC
Golden Goat
Hash Plant
OG Kush

Right now they are LST'ed to begin a method I have been working with. I will discuss later. Lets call it "bushing" for now. I took these clones the first week of January 2015. They are planted in Happy Frog. They have been getting a low dose of Age Old Grow however I probably wont be feeding them since I just transplanted into those gallon pots a few days ago from 4 inch pots. They were cloned in a humidity dome with rapid rooters and cloning gel. These were not the healthiest clones out of all but I gave the best and biggest ones to a friend because I owed him.

Here is a pic of the plants that I took the clones from a couple months ago, this pic is from a week ago and are in week 3 of flower under 1 1000 HPS if anyone is curious. These plants were "Bushed" and vegged for about 12 weeks, maybe less. I don't keep track. I just veg till the size I want then I flower. Up till flower plants are vegged 24-0. The front one is Blue Dream, the one on the far right is Golden Goat, the middle back is OG, back left is Hash Plant, front left is GSC. (That's another 1000 watter on the counter behind, I just haven't hung it up yet. I will add it with a MH and run both MH and HPS to help add to the frostiness of the buds. I should change my name to "The Lazy Grower"

I will be posting as this grow progresses.

Those weren't even the biggest plants that I harvested last year. Off the bigger of the two though I got almost a pound dry. The one on the left smelled so good, it smelled like a fruity perfume. I had never smelled anything like it.

Niiiice, you got golden goat this year... You are going to love that one.
My buddy grew it last year. To tell you the truth its a little "racey" for me and mine but some people like that. It makes me feel like I slammed a pot of coffee then got punched behind my eye balls. Also light seems brighter. Like I have to close my blinds and or wear shades.

So its been awhile since my last post regarding this grow. Above are the plants in early/mid March. The strains are GSC, Golden Goat, OG, Hash Plant, and Blue Dream.

I had some trouble around April when I switched the lights from 24/0 to 18/6 because my electric bill was annoying me. They stayed under the 18/6 for only a couple weeks before I put them outside. We had a rainy and dark spring where is was getting darker earlier than it normal would have because of cloud cover. So, the plants went into flower. I tried to figure out what happens when outdoor plants go into flower and seriously nobody knew anything for sure. Just guesses and theories. It took over a month for the plants to fully revert back to veg. I lost a lot of size that I would have had if I would have kept them under lights till mid May. The plants looked very alien and still look pretty crazy. Well a few do, mostly the Hash Plant which resembles a pineapple shape. The leaves went from serrated to round with no serrations. When the buds that had formed, or colas I should say they had little bud balls and the leaves were all twisted up. The pictures below were taken June 28th.
