Venting 10'x11' Spare Bedroom (stealth)

I have a spare bedroom that is 10'x11 and houses a grow closet with the dimensions of 2.5x5x6. I need to cool(400w CMH) the closet down without using a powerfull inline that sounds like a jets' taking off. I'll have to keep the closet door open during light cycle..so there will be some dispersion. My house is old and in this bedroom there is no heating/cooling, so this Winter I want to embark on a grow. I will be growing NL#5 and using Ona buckets for odor. My bedroom is on the opposite side of the spare and was thinking of closing off spare and cutting a five inch duct hole to my bedroom for heat removal(only 4 inches seperate bedrooms). Was thinking of mounting a 120mm computer case fan 75-120cfm into duct/wall near a baseboard and run that sucker constantly. I know it's not an inline but 120cfm isn't too shabby. I'm thinking it will take an hour to remove heat but once it does it'll remain constant. Sounds under powered I know, but will this work? :eyesmoke:

You want the duct near the top as there is where the heat will be. That still may not be enough fan but I am sure it will do some good. Are you going to try and air cool that light in your confined space?

I was hoping I could get away with the exhaust near the floor so this way I could always put some furniture in close proximity. Now for the closet I was thinking of just leaving it open. Was also thinking of installing a 90mm case fan at top of clost exhausting heat buildup in the enclosed portion of the closet. Any suggestions?

I think I found the fan that'll do the job of exhausting the bedroom. It's a Delta 120mm case fan that moves an impressive 240cfms. Gonna get a Molex speed controler to quiet this puppy down to 70% of max power.

you need to put the vent hole on the top heat rises go with physics dont try to fight it
if your going to cut a hole to vent into your room how do you expect to make a vent tube to look stealth?

The closet is on the opposite side of the room where I'd make my duct vent. I think the whole room would fill up with heat regardless where the vent is. I will be exhausting direct heat from enclosed upper portion of closet. If I was to create a vent on the far side of room and near the ceiling, this would not be stealth and cause for suspicion. I suppose I could periodically open a window as this is only going to be a Winter grow. Spare is at end of house that stays extremely cold in the Winter. I'm gonna see how temps can be handled before I start punchin holes in the wall. This is a rental so anything I modify has to be patched up.
