Ventilation suggestions needed!!!

I was wondering what the best way to vent my grow would be.....also as cheap as possible :-P

here is my grow box:

-Box deminsions: 28"h x 14"w x 14"d (~6.5 cubic ft)
-Using 6 x 26w CFLs
-Current: exhausting through hole in reflector w/ fan..... temps currently ~87-88
No intake
-I will be sealing the box as soon as I figure out my ventilation

*Would a PC fan each for the intake and exhaust would be enough to keep it cool? And would one of those be better than the red fan that I'm using now?
*How many times does the air in the box need to be changed per minute?
*Would I be better off exhausting somewhere else?

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Stack your chips and a buy tent.
Very inexpensive on EBay too.
Or use that whole closet as your tent.
Split it in half for veg and bloom, if you have the room.
I just get the feeling you're gonna outgrow that little space.

I dont plan to use this setup indefinitely...... I just dont want to spend much money because I will be moving in aug..... and I'm not sure if I'll be able to grow in my new place..... If I can I'm gonna buy a hps.

Back to my original question, would 2 computer fans be sufficent in this setup?

hackery is fine for temporary grows. typically you get out what you put it. Keep that in mind. think a tent is the way to go also. In answer to you question yes, I think any small fan or cmputer fans would work great.

computer fans will work. make the intake on the bottom and the exhaust on the top...you can get a nice set of 4 pc fans with ac power cord for like $13 to $15 at fry's electronics... good luck man

I suggest making a top then sealing the box from light and air. That being done make a intake port and exhaust port that are semi permanently placed your exhaust being as high in the box as possible, the intake as low possible. For the fans... a old computer can be gutted for both fans and power supply. Do a little googling about how to turn the power supply into a constant 12 volt supply. Also I would cut down the reflector so that hot air can flow up easily.basically all this can be done for next to nothing if your creative. A tip about axial fans like the ones in comps is that they don't like pressure so keep them free flowing minimal ducting, bends, etc. That being said make sure to block the light again be creative. I hope I helped a bit.

The reflector seals out most of the light from the top. I have a hole cut in the reflector right above the middle of the bulbs, with a small fan exhausting the hot air.... The exhaust isnt completely lightproof yet though lol
