Ventilation question

I have a 1100 CFM exhaust fan that is replacing a 483 CFM fan. Would I be able to use this 483 CFM fan to pull air in the room along with an 8" passive intake and have enough air exchange?

Or should I just add another 8" passive intake. I guess I just dont really want to see the fan sitting.

Could also buy a speed controller to help control it better

So it looks like the 400cfm died out on me. I am going to be doing another passive intake 8". I have to route through my attic to an outside vent for fresh air. The intake is going to run 15 ft though but has no kinks/ bends. Is this length of ducting too long to make this efficient?

Two 8" passive intakes gives me roughly 1 1/2 size of my 12" exhaust and I should be able to keep neg pressure.

Thoughts on this anyone?
