Ventilation Question...

Hi, I'm currently setting up for my first real grow, i have a 2x4 tent and will be using t5 flourescent lights. i will be running a 6" inline fan and carbon filter. So my real question is how much space do i need off to the side of my tent for fan/filter/and ducting for proper air flow so it's not restricted by a duct that turns too early? im wondering because im in a closet thats 6 feet across. so i have 2 extra feet off to the side. should that be enough space off to the side?

Where are you going with the duct after it exits the tent?

Im just going to leave my closet door open and run it into the room since im using a tent

I didn't see this thread before posting but I have prettymuch the same issue with my 2x4 tents & t5s
mines venting out the window right now but Im kinda realizing that it's way too much vent length for the fan I have

what are your temps. running with it set up this way?

im still waiting for my tent to come in the mail, i have everything else, and my buddy has clones waiting for me. but like i said i will be running a t5 light set up and have an intake and exhaust fan so i cant imagine the temps running high at all. but once i get my tent ill let you know.
