Ventilation Exhaust

Filter>fan>cool tube>exhaust into basement room, same room that the tent intakes from

I'm wanting to have the exhaust vent out of the house. First option would be to use a wye duct ant tie into my dryer exhaust vent. I'm not sure if I would need a backflow damper or not with that option, but that would be the easier fix for me. Option two would be to vent the exhaust out its own vent but I really don't want to cut a hole in the side of my house since my handyman skills are below average. I know option two is the best option, but would option 1 work?

I have people in my house regularly that absolutely can't recognize the odor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
