ventelation question for grow box

hi i have bought a 4x4 secret jardin dark street 2 grow box, this is my first grow and im trying to keep it stealthy and quiet as possible, im only using 8 32 w t8 bulbs overhead 2850 lumens each, and 2 t8s on front and back of the box, 384 watts, 34,200 lumens, im probably going to put up a wall or curtain inside the box to make it 2x4 to give better lumens for the square footage, but my question is about ventelation, with the t8 fluorescent lights they give off next to no heat so i wouldnt be worried about cooling the room to much but more worried about minimum how big of a fan i would need, how many cfms, and do i need a inline and a exhaust fan?, i read today you just need a exhaust fan or you create negative pressure or something? any information would be greatly appreciated!

Great question...Here is how I would mathematically attempt to solve the problem. 4 feet wide X 4 feet depth X 6 feet tall = 96 cubic feet. Hook up a variable control 6 inch fan to a carbon filter. Then a 4 inch fan with variable capability to get air into your tent. In essence, you can control air flow in/out and odor. You gotta get the heat out of the tent and fresh air in so yes, you do ned both imo.

use the formula above to figure you sq. ft. and then find a box type fan to pull air out of your cab. exhaust is up high, intake is from below. all you need is a gentle breeze, not a friggin hurricane, to provide sufficient air-flow.

hi

both good answers ...........but they missed something

1 do not split your area in half u did not account for what this will do to the air flow pattern inside (u would need 2 fans inside to correct the problem

2 u said hidden ............1 the fan the person told u about is very good but does not account for the DB lvls it is one of the higher ones
u want Active Air is has the lowest sound lvls naturally

next u must mount this fan some where safe then gfit a carboard box around it after the ducting is in .........cut the shape and leave about 4 to 6 inches of room ......head to walmart and grab one of those cheap foam matress topper (u know half eggshell one) and a indoor outdoor wired temp gauge
http://www.amazon.com/Taylor-1522-Indoor-Outdoor-Thermometer/dp/B001H1LTME/
something like that ...............now to make a little hole in the box and pass the probe tho and tape it to the fan's case.......now u can cut up the foam pack it in the box and put the box on the fan then tape it down .............u now have a sound dampner the temp is to keep a eye on the fan if it gets up near 130 it will shut off but u should have no issue ...............since it is a box u can camo it as something and hide it easy

@justugh if you get a variable fan with speed control, will it still be loud? I just got this one
Hyper 6" Inline Duct Booster Fan $149

the sound of the fan is based off the design and materials made from .............the speed controller does lower the sound if u are running it less then high.............the sound lvl is about 60 dbs a fan on medium

here is where i got my DB and understanding of this
