Marijuana isn't even full legal yet in Cali and on Bud Trader you can get a pound for $1000 and sometimes less. Just wait till this stuff becomes nationally legal in the next few decades and the prices will get flushed down the toilet.

i get zips of decent mids for 100 in cali. just have to know the growers. however i dont know any that grow straight fire yet (im still on my first grow not sayin itll be fire but itll be better than what i get now im sure) so if i want some good top shelf i gotta go to the damn dispensaries and their mandatory 65.25 for top shelf in the area

For some reason nirvana's ice kush wouldn't sell, but go to a different club and call it bubba, and they'll start offering 2.8 a P...Middle manned a lb of indoor bluedream last September 2600, was organic soil grown,came out nice and frosty(almost had a powdery white look to it,caked in crystals),dank smell without having the break the buds apart...best bluedream this dispensary has every seen...hit the shelves and they were charging 380oz and 55 8th...

To think that you cannot make a decent profit after a $1,000 sale of a quality pound of weed, is silly. Therefore to say you can't get a pound of quality weed for $1,000, is silly.
Maybe not from a dispensary, but they have lots and lots of overhead. When the stuff becomes legal prices will likely collapse if the government doesn't tax the ever-loving shit out of everyone. If the government does tax the hell out of everyone in the industry, then it will just create another black market, and prices would still collapse.
Then again electricity prices in California can be high. Where I'm from I pay 3.5 cents per KWH so electricity bills would be a drop in the bucket as compared to what the electricity is producing.

Depends where in Cali you are. When I lived in Santa Barbara (before they had dispensaries) 20g/65 8th was standard everywhere.

It has elite THC potential. It tests well above 20% thc if done correctly. I've seen it up to 24%.
It's a strain that should only be done indoors though. Every time I've seen SSH outdoor it's been total shit. I think it molds easy so it usually ends up getting picked early and is schwag.
