hi guys.

i was planning to flower my grow next wednesday, BUT it seems my fucking wife will be having a weeks visit of her family at the exact week of harvest if i do flip them next wednesday..

so my question is. are there any "max" veg time for plants grown from seed or can i just veg them as long as i like so im sure harvest time will be when i have my house to myself?

probably a stupid question but ya know.. first grow niblet

well stretching is a problem i dont have or will have on this grow... its like 1 cm between nodes on some of them. its insane. really bushy.

I would be careful.. I wouldn't go more than 6 or 7 weeks worth to be honest.

I've seen some people post pics of plants that they let veg too long.. and therefore didn't produce hardly any buds really.. more leafs and branches than flowers.

I personally try to go three weeks of veg max, then flip to flowering.

Again, not saying you can't veg for 6 or 7 weeks or longer.. but I wouldn't take the chance. IMO.

Good luck either way!
peace

The nodes are close now but it will start stretching when light is taken away. You might want to top the plants and let em veg on out another couple weeks, at least then you'll keep the height issue in check. Otherwise you might be dealing with a jungle and no light to the lower branches.

look at pruning for yield
i trim all the time and use em for clones
if ya cut the top they will put more effort into bushing out and you will get more tops
flick em when ya want
