Vegetation/Flowering?

I have researched a lot on vegetation and flowering and yet I'm still unsure of what exactly would suit my plants best. I have 6 clones that are about 4 weeks into vegetation and they are about 9-11in tall. I've heard of a lot of people saying go 6-8 weeks vegetation and I've heard of people going right into flowering after week 4. Any advice from you experienced growers that have quite a few crops under your belt? I am looking to get big dense buds with a high yield!! I heard the longer the veg, the better the flowers, can anyone shed some light? If you look at this schedule it shows they start the flowering week 4! Just confuses me on how long I should really wait!

It comes down to how big you want them to get and the limitations of your equipment and space. If you let us know what you are working with we can help make some better estimates. Also most strains at least double in size when flowering (some even triple) so keep that in mind.

he's right. In my experience clones don't stretch as much as seed when u switch to flower because they are genetically mature (they retain age of mother). If you have a 4 or 600 then 12-14" should be good.

I agree with meetzu as well, it's about size more than age and your space and gear. I have veged for too long in search of the larger yield and ended up with garbage because my lights were not sufficient.
