I see where people use molassas. Has anyone ever considered vegemite? I am not to sure about molassas and its contents but vegemites content of phosporus and potassium seem to be through the roof.

For the phosphorus, scroll down to the heading for 'Sugars, jams and spreads': Food Data Chart - Phosphorus

For the potassium, scroll to the same place:Food Data Chart - Potassium

I heard Vegemite (Marmite) is good for the plant for those reasons, plus its supposed to be filthy rich in good bacteria kinda... deal. My guessing would be that seen as beers supposed to be good for plants and its roughly made from the same kind of stuff (yeast) then Marmite would be no different. Dont quote me on that though, im new and gaining experience as I go.

Besides, couldnt you use Marmite for one of those small Co2 bottle/sugar/yeast deals to help your plant along, so even if you couldnt use it as a fert directly you could be able to produce Co2 from it and give your plant that little push?

I dont know. Iv looked into this myself and kind of came to a vague conclusion that its probably more help then hinder.

Like I said though, dont quote me on that.

i like that last line you wrote "dont quote me on that" because marmite and vegemite are 2 totally different spreads Vegemite uses actual left over yeast from unbrewed beer where as marmite doesnt
