18/6 is what it states for vegatative grow . Ive seen some people doing 24/0 do you really benifit from this?

You do benefit some, not as much as the extra power you use though. Some here don't care much for it. I tried it my 1st grow. It was good until soil problems got me. 2nd grow 18/6, not quite as fast growth. 20/4 is also used by fewer growers, but claim it's the best of all.

Well im trying 24/0 to start for the first couple weeks if not stay on it. B/c i work 3rd shift and its hard for me to flip the switch on and off accordingly to plan. As far as nutrients im going to wait 2 weeks or maybe even when its second or third set starts. they seem to be growing about 1/4 a day its about a 1 1/2 now and i planted it may 30th... Is that good growth?

theres no need to flip your switchs bro! timers are less then $10 its best to have one! you never know those times you might not be home!

what im using is my vanity though im building a box for it this weekend b/c there just seedlings sprouting the ones is prob an inch high now but. I have one of those little lamps with a reflecter on it i just stuck a 7500 crl twist in it. and the cubby hole is probally about 12 in by 8 in but its open and it can slide back in it has sides. So... I cant really hook a timer up to it till i get a box it wouldn't be right to cut my vanity light for a timer but that would be cool to have a night light timer behind my head haha

I have my babies under 24/0 and its going on 14 days so as of now they are doing great I will post pics later today hoefully.
