Veg time

About how long should I let my plants veg for.random bagseed using 400 watt mh veg 400 watt hps flower.been in veg three weeks from seed-short and bushy .don't no how to post pics

I would say a third of the way to the maximum height allowed that way you don't have to worry about them growing into the light

w/ a 400w I'd do four plants four weeks veg.. or maybe two plants six weeks..

Either way I'm not taking your space into account, just your light.
