Vaporizing herbs (aside from cannabis)

So I just got a new iolite and im trying to find some kind of guide as to different herbs i can vaporize. possibly some kind of list that has either temperatures or descriptions or effects or even just some good websites to buy herbs. anything helpful will be appreciated.

I like to vape my herb with a little lavender or mint sometimes. Ive never tried catnip but it smells to me like a cross between mint and weed so its worth a shot also.

well thats because they are all from the mint family.

Vape some Salvia Divinorum that will show you a good time =P

agreed, if u havent smoked salvia once then go buy some at your local head shop and try it out once

I'll jump on the Salvia reccomendation band wagon. I've only heard of it being chewed/smoked so it'd be interesting to see the results from a vapouriser!

I always smoked it out of a water pipe, but it was originally suggested that I vape it...

just make sure you don't do it while alone, and do it siting, else you may end up on the ground anyway with a broken iolite... lol


if enjoy soda, and have enough control, try drinking some, Coke was magical to me on salvia....

I definatly recomend salvia also. Its pretty intense.

I have topped some MMJ with Lavender or peppermint, is awesome! Lavender is very relaxing and soothing by itself. As far as Salvia goes...be ready for a wild ride and DO NOT trip alone. That means your trip buddy needs to be straight, sorry. What's funny is to have your trip buddy videotape or take notes of your trip. Then review them later... you'll see what I mean by a wild ride!

Lol, my advice for salvia is do it alone, but in a place you can't harm yourself or break anything. I find other people's input in the salvia state to be very confusing, and I also find myslef holding on the the concept of their presence and sometimes transposing it as the presence of entities. If yuo HAVE to have a sitter i'd find someone with the maturity to not interact with you at all, or laugh or make any sound. Their sole function is to help you reintegrate on the way out, especialy if you forgot you took salvia. With a little practice you can tell yourself that you are not going to loose your train of thought and ego, and actualy pull it off. For spiritual work, halucigenic doses are not required.

I also recommend doing salvia alone. As long as you just sit and stay seated you are good. If you do that you won't look like one of the idiots on youtube who scream and run around.

Salvinorin a vaporizes around 260C-275C... those temps would burn/scar your lungs

this is why a torch lighter (really hot flame) is recommended to be used with a water pipe when smoking salvia, the water cools the super hot smoke

I have never tried salvia. How does it compare to LSD or shrooms?

I know you can mix cannabis and Kava or kava-kava (Piper methysticum) roots. Just grind up the dried root. However, do not order the extract or pills, because they are garbage.

The torch lighter is not needed unless you vape.

Those are the common temps of objects depending on the glow they give off, my english fails me a bit here.
Anyway, when you light up a cherry in a pipe/bong, you are way above required temp.

Salvia has some properties that reminds you of the peaks of a solid LSD dose, all compressed into a few minutes, but its not the same, its just you can fbe forgiven for seeing the similarities, that is of coarse when you smoke an OD dose like most people. Taken oraly its much more gentle and pretty much unique.
