Vaporizing dmt with volcano.

so ive gathered some info online and from friends who have done this.

most people including my friends use weed then put the crystal ontop and use a high temp 8.5-9.

but i dont wanna use weed in the process [some of my friends cant smoke weed]

i have a volcano classic with easy valve set and i also have the liquid pad for the volcano.

liquid pad is a metal mesh that you put into volcano bowl to smoke concentrates.

i have smoke hash/keif/oil out of it no problem but i was wondering if any 1 has done it with dmt and im also wondering what temperature to put it at.

155 degrees Fahrenheit.

LOL 70 degrees Celsius or 155 degrees Fahrenheit is DMT's boiling point according to Sasha Shulgin in PiHKAL.

Oh, I was basing that on a high s.t.p., if at satp it should be around the 155'F.

You wan't to go well above that temp, or the spice will recrystalise as soon as it leaves the chamber. Also melting point differs greatly based on purity. Most of the extractions I see peope pull off will need temps North of the boiling point.

yes 155degrees for boiling point to take dmt from a crystal to a liquid that wont vaporize it. i need to take 1 more step for a liquid to smoke for vaporization. ive done the research and most people who use cheap vaporizers cant use it for dmt because it doesnt get hot enough.
im looking for personal experiences. ive done plenty of research about temps of vaporization. when i mean what temp i mean what temp for my volcano dial.

surprizing that people really havent done this its pissing me off i dont wanna waste dmt or ruin my volcano.

according cas numbers DMT metling pt is 60c/120f and its BOILING point is 160c or 320f, boiling point is the vapor phase, so use ~300f.

The thing is, I suspect one needs to get it hot enough very fast, I have this idea of a vapouriser that would strike a small receptacle with a bolt of high voltage...
Then again I can build antique vacuum tube circuits.... although I could well imagine some people being shit scared to take their hits from the business end of an inducting coil out of a welder.

It would have to be done in the neo-steampunk way of the machines one encounters in hyperspace....

thank you. so to vape dmt its a little less than weed so about 4.5-5 on volcano dial..

got personal experience. my buddy says if your using liquid pad to be safe kick the volcano up to 9 - max to ensure it wont melt through pad and you get all in one balloon. newyears will be epic. volcano dmt rips in the desert under the stars =D
