So last week i got to try a Volcano and i was truly impressed by it. It literally blew my shitty toaster top out of the water. It's like Vapir is the Toyota's of the Industry and the Volcano is like a BMW.
The volcano is so much more stoner ergonomic. Everything is pop attachable, and bags have air guards inside them to prevent leakage. The device is also much more quiet than the VMD (vapormatic deluxe).
The Vapormatic Deluxs' Bag Kit is a JOKE. Very inefficient, and the loss of vapor due to the tacky hosing/inserting is significant.
The direct hose method is kind of cool, but that will accommodate only 1-3 people. AND PEOPLE DO NOT Like sucking a hose forever to get high.
With the volcano you get the pretty bags that have 3-6 hits inside. You can also see physical vapors!
I don't know...i guess i'm sad i spent $300 dollars on a toaster top. My friends think the volcano is better, which it is... meanwhile my VMD collects dust.
Sure it has a lifetime warranty....i guess that's where they caught me.

If money is not an issue, or even a remote concern, I'd seriously look into a Volcano or a VapeZilla. I think the Vapormatic Deluxe, might be worth it, if it were priced more at the $150 dollar range. However at $300 i find this device to be quite poor compared to its counterparts. Most noticeably in tackinesses and inefficiency. If anyone would like to add feedback, i'm more than eager to hear what other legitimate owners think or feel.
Other Issues: Still has leaks, i haven't done much to seal them, because taping the tray slot gets messy. Sometimes the bowls still burn...the fluctuation between temperatures sometimes causes the thing to heat up too high and burn weed.
ALSO there is a technique to achieve bowl maximization from this vaporizer. You don't hit it like a pipe or bong, you just breath in, almost normal, or synchronized with the rate of air being pushed out by the fan. Also if you block the flow of the pipe for a quick second or half second, it causes more vapors to be built up/released.
Overall its also annoying that if you are using hose method, that your mouth and throat become REALLY DRY. You're more likely to cough of a dry mouth, than smoke. But if the weed starts to burn...the WHOLE THING smells like SHIT.

my opinion's thus far:
For some odd reason there is leakage, it's not completely sealed.
I've cleaned the tray, and i try to clean the metal grill as well (done that about twice)
Burning weed? Mine has been burning more and more disks of weed than when it was new. Maybe i'm packing them to dense or turning the temp too high?
Bags VS Hose. I find that the hose is best for 1-3 people, that can get around some type of setup within the hoses range. Anything more than 3 ppl, and i think the bag system is the best.
Vape or Burn?
This is what keeps my vape out of action. i live with heavy pot smokers, and for some reason they just don't like it. yes it's healthier, and imo the vape gets you higher...but i guess they like the feeling of their lungs burning? i don't know...don't get me wrong...taking a bomb rip is faster...but vaping gets you higher....hmmm...
but yeah my damn roomates are always wanting to smoke blunts and pass bong tokes. imo, waste of a lot of good weed.
Another thing...the fan makes a lil noise on the lowest setting.
