I've just bought a

eGo twist 1100mah battery
Along with a dry herb atomiser with 2 spare coils on amazon. £18 total with £1.99 for a battery charger.

One of these
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00JNQA3QS

With one of these
http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00JMJV11W

And one of these.

Remove any fibres from the coil on the atomizer as you don't want to smoke them. Turn the eGo twist down to 4w. Fill the ceramic bowl by removing the glass orb and filling then replacing the orb. Don't pack too tight.

Then press button for about 2/3 of the draw allowing the last 1/3 to be no button press.

I don't really like them but maybe someone can tell me why.. I bought one with the rope coil atomizer and i had some wax flare up and ignite.. It is purged fully so skip that..it was working great but i took like 3 small hits in a row and i think i got it too hot??... Anyway they seem dangerous, i at least need a better mouthpiece that is bent and slimmer..

You need to remove the fibres from the coil.

Its on a YouTube video if you search for "ego twist dry herb atomiser"

I've tried to recreate what I've seen on that movie with the items linked above.

Also a variable voltage battery is best as you need it around 4w for it to work without burning out the coil.

forget about the dry herb attachment, iv tried 10 or so different ones and they all suck, the glass globes work amazingly well for wax, like JD said run it at 3.5 or 4 volts and ur golden. Priming it before you really start hitting it the first time seems to make the coil last longer, just load it with wax and hit the buttor for a second and stop, then repeat 3-4 times and then start rippin it. When you replace the coils do it again. save yourself some headaches and buy a 5 pack of coils and a replacement globe for when you get fucked up n shatter it like an ass hole like I did, ruined my night

Are you talking about an eGo threaded attachment? Thanks for the heads up on the dry herb attachments. I've always been wondering about those. Do they work for dry herbs at least?

Can you recommend a specific "globe?"

I've got an iTaste MVP battery which I highly recommend.

you can get them to work for a bit but you will go through coils like crazy and the smoke sucks. Iv tried a bunch of them and they all sucked, id get a coil to work for a few days and then id go through 4 on 1 bowl. Those globes for oil are great, makes burnin wax/oil way too easy.

The eGo thread attachment is generally a T510.

The globe atomizer I linked is a t510.

My new vape pen.

Picture 1 is the atomizer and spare coils.

Picture 2 atomizer pack with my eGo C twist battery.

Picture 3 coil with the nylon threads still inside.

Picture 4 coil with nylons removed.

Picture 5 attached to the battery.

I'm gonna be puffing on this later and will report back with its results.

So I had it working.

Here's some pics.

First pic is of some THC caught in the catcher under my grinder. That bowl is full.

Second picture is of it filled with smoke.

I got one more hit out of that bowl on about 4v on the twist selector.

DEFINATELY works better with the kief style load than the flower load.

Not really enough bowl space for a decent amount of flowers.

Next time I may order a Cloupor Cloutank m3.

Just thought I would update here for anyone who's watching.

So I've been using this eGo with the dry herb atomizer since yesterday and its pretty good once you get the hang of it.

The trick is to slightly dome the bowl with flowers that you've ground up quite finely.

I've found around 3.8 on the twist function to be good for a first burn.

However. I've gone through 2 of the 3 coils provided from packing the bowl too tightly etc.

I think the atomizer could benefit from a larger glass dome and a metal bowl that's larger than the ceramic coil.

I've since ordered a slightly bigger dry herb atomizer from eBay. Very similar to the current one but with a metal bowl and a screen over the coil (so the picture says)

If I have a similar experience with the new one I shall post here.

After the ordered atomizer I will be ordering a CLOUPOR CLOUTANK M3.

I wish they worked better for bud bud they just dont. Keep in mind that you arent vaping the bud, you are burning it so the cost of coil replacement isnt worth it. I love em for oil tho. Here is my Vamo V5 with the oil encrusted globe ant the protank 3, love the rig.image.jpgimage.jpg
