Vacuum sealing pot.

I didn't know where to put this, but if it's in the wrong place I apologize.

Anyway, I was looking for some help to double vacuum seal weed.

I need to make sure that the bag does emit any smell, and the buds dont get crushed.


Could I use a hand held vacuum sealer for this? Like this one?

Anybody have any experience with this? I noticed these handheld vacuum sealer bags are a bit different, they feature a ziplock.

Should I just spend the money and get a regular Vacuum seal for double vacuum sealing?

I have one like this that works really well....it does crush the hell out of bud though due to the high vacuum....bags come out super tight. I can't smell anything coming from the bag at all.

you can vacum seal it without sucking the air out and it still wont smell....

I bought one along with the wide mouth jar sealer for my half gallon Ball jars. No air, no crush.

Any vacuum sealer will do. Every thrift store usually has several.

Hey, I have one a those comin in the mail this week. So does it work well. Do the buds expand or anything?

To the OP, I have read that those bags lose the seal half the time. I have also read that after several days dogs can smell thru vacuum sealed bags.

I would prefer a vacuum machine that comes with a mason jar adapter sealing a bag as stated would crush the buds, not sure that's a good idea.

I think those like jela put the link to are worth a little extra, they seal really well, and are heavy plastic. That's how I used to ship fireworks back to Ca. when I was there.
If you're really worried about smell, you do smallish bags, then put those inside another with some coffee grounds and seal.

Just an idea, but most camping stores like REI sell smell proof bags, so bears can't smell your jerky and what not. Bears can smell seven times better then bloodhounds.
