Vac purge advice needed. have 1lb of nice shake, what pump to get?

not a bad deal, but you are extremely new to the forum, hope nobody gets stiffed!

I've been playing with the vacuum chamber that I whomped up out of a vintage Mirror 22 quart pressure cooker, and am pleased to say that my last lid made out of 1 1/2" Polycarbonate doesn't oil can when you pull a vacuum on it, like the 1" Acrylic plate still did. I got the PC at $2 a pound as remnant for about $36 and the used cooker was a gift.
