Uv lights?

Somewhere I heard that u can use uv type lights
Is this true?
Like most potheads I have plenty of blacklights in my room and I was wonderin if you can use those for growing

I've heard the same thing, but I don't know that there is concensus on exactly how much to use. You're probably better off sticking to proven methods like CFL or HID lights.

Uv Lights I have heard you can use sometime late in the flowering stage to improve the amount of trichs, the reason being is that the plant will actually try to protect itself from the uv light and there for they do that by producing more trichs to shield itself, hope this helps.

yeh , blacklights and ultravoilets get a bit mixed - i hear from the proper uvs you up your resin % as the plant tries to defend itself from the harmful rays ( sumthin we should giv a go rather than cookin ourselfs)
