UV COBS FOR UVB ?

I am not too knowledgeable on this (uv+cannabis) but I'll chime in on general uv.

Since the LED's target different nm ranges, which would be the best choice? UV LEDs come in 255nm(uvc)- 370nm(uva) and they are expensive for the mW they produce. 20$ for a finger-nail curer, imagine the amount needed. As stated above "$$$4watts".

The fluoro's work good for a bearded dragon and iguana (exo terra, zoo med), cheap enough, just don't stare into it. The coral game also has some (Corallife, Sunpaq). Those inefficient 3ft t12's from years ago grew plenty of coral, the new age pl-l & t5ho's today even more so.

Some stated in the uvb thread that they work well for a short burst at the middle of lights on.

Didn't you do some messing around with the Hortilux PowerVeg bulbs a while back? If so, how did you like them?
I've used the Reptisun and Powerveg before, the Pure UV has a much higher output. They all do the job but you need to keep the weaker ones closer.

Lol tell me about it when I had been using the arcadia 12%uvb and switched to the agomax and the plants couldn't take the same 15 min at a foot away.
