I ordered seeds from seedsman. The order made it to my town but is on hold at the local post office for pickup. Anyone ever had this happen?

Have they tried to deliver with signature and failed? If so, it is very possible that it will be at the post to be picked up.

If they were going to do anything, it's only some seeds... They would have stopped them from getting thru customs rather than waste money on hunting you down like an animal lol.

Yes, right now all my stuff seems to get held at the post office and a card is left. For me here in Canada it's a Covid thing. They want a signature but don't want the delivery people interacting with everyone. I am thinking you will be fine.
Edit: As HydroKid said, it would not make it through customs if there was an issue. You should be perfectly fine.

That makes sense, Seedsman is the customer, not the receiver. I doubt you have anything to worry about, it seems perfectly normal. You say tracking says pick up and all tracked packages from seedsman require a signature. I had to pick mine up, it is just Covid screwing with things.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. It's not like you sent the seeds. How do you know what someone sent you. Hell China's even been sending strange seed over here for some reason. The government is telling people not to plant them. It's not like there's a reciept in there with your name on it.

Go get your beans. There's no law against receiving a package, no way to prove you ordered it or know who sent it.

Yes. Not with seeds though. I looked up the usps message when it happened a month ago and apparently it’s become more common with postal delays. I waited and the package arrived the next day.
The message is a poor wording because you didn’t request the pickup. Most likely they will show up at your box.

maybe it arrived at the local office, and is being waited to be picked up by the postal carrier for your neighborhood.

The shipper is the customer, not the receiver. Seedsman as I quoted above requires signatures for all tracked items, postal workers are not doing signature drop offs in most places due the pandemic. I had to pick up my seeds, light and new UV bar at post office as they all required signature. Now I could be wrong but this is what I have experienced the last few months including my seed order from Seedsman.

I've ordered from Seedsman. I didn't have to sign for my seeds. They were in my mailbox.

But where they tracked? Non tracked does not require a sig, tracked does. I took a capture on Seedsman site above. You are correct that you can get non tracked seeds sent and dropped in your mailbox. I went with signed because they will not guarantee non tracked orders so if they go missing you are pooched.

Mine were tracked. I did the stealth delivery for the guarantee, but I didn't have to sign anything.
