Using TWO carbon filters?

I struggle with smell around my shed where my grow tent is. Its akward when guests are outside. Especially at the end of each grow and when Im drying. Tried different brands of filters and fans, same issues.
The tent has the usual setup with a carbon filter and fan inside the tent and then tubing going outside. It's negative pressured so shouldn't be any leaks.

Would it help to put another carbon filter at the end of the tubing outside the tent?

It would help.
You can even get inline filters, they go in the middle of duct, rather than the end.

The best thing to do is make sure your filter is capable of handling way greater volume of air than your fan is capable of shifting, by oversized the filter/s

Yes bigger filter & slower speed. I have 2 fan & 2 filters, one that recirculates air around the room & one that extracts. The one that extracts runs at a lower speed. I dont have to do it this way but I just repurposed all my old fans & filters that I wasnt using one day & kinda liked the way it works for me.

Most filters can be made inline simply by stuffing them into a box with 2 port holes. You could even make a dual inline scrubber with 2 standard filters in the box, etc.. I would rather have 2 filters splitting the volume than running from one into another. The first one will clog up way faster than the second one in line.. Also it would be less restrictive that way.
