using root shooters from advanced

how do i use these root shooters from advanced do i just cut and stick? do i need to water them first? how moist do i need to keep them?

I'm using them for the first time and the cuttings seem to be rooting just fine. I watered them with a tablespoon of water per cube prior to sticking. It says in the directions that it is best to water them before use. With a heat mat under the tray they do dry out quickly. Keep an eye on them, they turn a light tan color when they are getting dry. I'm not too worried about over watering because they drain well, just don't let them sit in water.

i just need to mist them a few times a day no standing water

Just water the cubes when they dry up and use a humidity dome, no need to mist them.
