Using canned butter

The biggest issue I've had with making cannabutter in the past has been dealing with all the milk solids. Then I discovered canned butter. It's basically ghee (all solids removed), and cooks up sooooo much cleaner than regular sticks. If you've been having issues washing your butter after cooking, you may want to give it a try.

What technique are you using? Are you just slow-simmering in a pan? If so, I got a way better method for ya!

never heard of canned butter?? Ghee sells here for about 12$ for a 24oz jar (butter is about 3$ per lb)

You can make ghee out of butter.
It's just a matter of heating it, skimming the froth off the top and straining it.
A 24 oz jar of butter will produce about 20.5 oz of ghee.

Yes, I know you can make ghee from normal butter, but that's a pain in the butt extra step if I can just get it canned.

MDogg- Yes, simmer in pan with water 4:1 to butter, strain off through increasingly finer seives, stick in fridge.

A dispensary I would imagine, I've seen all kinds of storage vessels lol. One of the Docs. on netflix had a product for wings and part of the marketing said 'I can't believe it's Pot Butter'! I want to try it just to have the bottle!

I can't believe how much people are charged for butter, it's not right...like $1.25 lb. in Western PA. Coconut oil is simple to use as well, but I guess it wouldn't taste right in all recipes.

How high can you get off your butter making it that way? Have you ever hallucinated from it? Been high for 16-24 hrs? I use a way more intensive method than that, but, it is well worth it?

that's freaking cheap... I live in the heart of the cen valley dairies here for days.. I pay $2.99lb

coconut here runs about 7$ on sale 9$ normally for 16oz

have been high for a full day... was NOT worth the experience IMO.. a great 20 mins.. then utter shit for 8... then sleep for 8 then OMG I;m still high 8 more... the last 8 felt more like a hangover disorientation high.

Google 'canned butter' or 'canned ghee'. Pick and choose.

It can be seriously intense stuff alright, you just have to figure out dosage. If 1 cookie gets you so fucked that you can't talk then only eat a 1/4 of it for a pretty nice buzz that lasts all day or all night.
