This might already been posted before but I was at borders book store and came across a page that said to use a green light bulb at night. Does anyone know anything about this and if so could you shine some light on it please?

ya if u need to work in your grow area during dark period is best to use a green light, the plant isnt affected by it.:leaf:

While you can use a green bulb during the lights off cycle I personally just do all my plant tending during lights on hours. I keep a green bulb in a light socket (turned off) just in case I have an emergency and need to go into the room during lights out.... like say if I hear something come crashing down  .... or need something out of the room.

Also..... my ph/ppm meter is a continuous read meter and the glowing light from it is green..... I suspect so it won't disturb the plants in their dark cycle.

Hope that helps :)
