Using 3 part system for spidermite prevention?

Hey guys I just have a quick question regarding spidermites?? I have read a lot of posts about people saying that I should during the vegetation stage use neem>insecticidal soap> then Pyrethrin Spray once a week with one and then change it up to the next every week... Then spray down with water the next day.... And I was wondering:
1. If I spray down with water the next day, whats the point? Couldn't I still get infested?
2. With all these sprays will it make my plant and bud chemical hot? Even though I would be spraying down with water the next day after each spray?

The best thing is to keep a really clean grow area and a really good eye on your plants and take fast action if you do see any little fuckers about. The thing is you can bring them in from anywhere so there's always a risk. Need seems to work pretty good once you find them but large doses can burn your plants especially under bright light and shouldn't be used once youre in bloom

2. I use avid and floramite.. and I mix 0.8 mL of each into a 2 liter reservoir. Since my plants have at least 3 months of solid vegging ahead of them; I am not worried about the what the plant can metabolize until then. I ussually spray once every 9 days without missing any sprays for the first 36 days. I would recommend spraying with some sort of insecticide each time you spray down foliage.. Hope this helps!

oh ok cool thanks guys for the replies!! The only reason I was asking about the water was, do you guys find that the sprays alter the taste of the bud?? if you use sprays in flower?? or even if you dont??

I've only had fungus gnats before. But I try to spray my veg plants with azamax mixed with transport every 10 days or so. Not a bad idea to switch it up. But like the fella above said, keep your grow clean.. also the fuggers apparently thrive in high heat conditions.

I work outside in the forest in the mountains, never brought any baddies home with me and I'm not always the best at remembering to decontaminate. I used to freak out going to the grow stores thinking about what might be crawling on the other customers. Especially since it's legal to grow now.

Plants seem to love it though.. But yeah.. recently I have been taking it easy on the sprays..

Only have thrips now.. but when I saw those spider mites.. it was on!

This was my combination of each mix in the same spray:

1 Liter = 0.264 Gallons

1.5 mL * 0.264 = 0.4 mL Per Liter Dosage

A single dunk of floramite is supposed to last a month, BUT ive had floramite resistant mites so whatever works, works!

Solar Flowered Are your mites or other pests seeming to be resistant to your spray with the combination of avid and flororamite?? Also is the lower dosage the one you use if you dont have any pests?? 1 L= 0.264 Gallons

I have never seen any mites or any other bug live to tell the tale after I get done with 3 consecutive sprays over a 27 day time span. I use 0.4 mL of Avid and 0.4 mL of Floramite for a total of 0.8 mL of pesticide for 1 liter of water. I use the same mix for sprays after infestation is discovered, as well as preventative sprays where no infestation has been discovered. Works like a charm every time!
