Use different lights throughout the day?

Thank you very much for replying to my thread, i have got more info than i could of hoped for and now a new option for some lights and a fan, im going to head off now. Thank's guys.

Blurples. Poorest decision anyone can make. You’d seriously be better off growing with an incandescent light bulb and a few candles next to your plants

I've never heard of a noisy fixture, but what I would do is use a radio or something to drown out the noise, something low and melodious, like soft Jazz that won't freak out you neighbors (no C&W).
Oh. also fuck the CFL'S, their only good for veg, so use the LED

They are crap but not that crappy. I used them in the past and pulled good plants. that color is terrible though...

I had one given to me a few years ago and it sucked ass compared to the cfls I was using at the time. I’d rather grow with a flashlight hanging over my plant than with a blurple

Its the fan on the led itself, its a marshydro 300w, 156w actual, the fan on that thing+ intake and exhaust make it sound like a plane taking off. But took the advice about household led's and now the plants are looking much better. I got 4 24w cfl's and some 8.5w led's at 800 lumen each..

I found the same, with a marshydro 300 the growth is very slow and node space was quite bad, with cfl's there is a bit of stretch but the plant seems in better health with them.
