Urban Poison from Nirvana

I usually have great success with Nirvana seeds but this strain sucks, even though it supposedly has a promising genetic background.
I bought 5 feminised Urban Poison and 5 feminised Venus Flytrap from Nirvana. Out of 5 UP seeds 3 germinated of which 1 ended up male, it has taken about 2 months of flowering for them to start budding properly whereas the Venus Flytraps are a week off harvest. Just thought I'd give a heads up seeing as I couldn't find any literature on this strain when I was ordering.

The upshot is that Nirvana sent me 2 new seeds when I sent them some feedback about the strain. Also the Venus Flytrap is absolutely killer; not sure about the claims to sativa genetics seeing as the plants are quite compact.

I'll still buy off Nirvana though because they have unbeatable value and shipping as well as some great strains, if you buy the right ones!

can you tell some more about the Venus Fly Trap...
I'm growing some now.
Just a few questions:

does it like nutes?
how long in veg? flowering?
yield?
taste? smell? smoke?
height approx?
etc.

anything else you think i might need to know to be successful....everything is very welcome and very appreciated

That is all I know about Venus Flytrap, but anything carrying the Nirvana brand is something I would never spend a penny of my money on.

Looks can be deceiving. Some people assume too much by looking at size and shape and even flowering time. A perfect example of that is how many people believe that real true Romulan is mostly or even all indica. The original Romulan was a Korean sativa brought back by Canadian soldiers when they were shipped back home from the Korean War. They bred the shorter faster flowering phenotypes to each other over the years and the strain became shorter and shorter and finished earlier and earlier until it took on the appearance of an indica. When it was found by the Dutch Masters they bred other strains with it and still called it Romulan and they used indica so between looks and then later changes made by the Dutch Masters the world came to know a complete sativa as being mostly or all indica.

well the smoke was definitely Sativa so my apologies there about my comments on the sativa genetics. It likes nutes i didn't max out on them but it never reacted badly, flowering takes up to 10 weeks, yield is on the good side and the buds are very tight and compact especially for a sativa, the main cola is huge but I'd suggest pruning to increase yield because the lower buds don't get any light as it is a bushy enough plant
