Urban Outdoor Action

Here's my freebie Kannabia Afrodite doing her thing outdoors. She has a ways to go so we'll see if she finishes properly. Next year I'll be a bit more serious about my outdoor growing fun times. This was done on a whim. You can see the last of my autos in the lower left; Fast Bud and Deimos Auto Fruit or some such.

I've started some Sannie's Kolossus and will start some Killing Fields shortly (both indoor obviously). I will be scrogging those in my tent.

Thanks. Yeah, I'm really excited about the Killing Fields. It's a beautiful plant. Here's the contents of my package from Sannie. Yeehaw!

hey man the MJ plants look great to me and so do the veggies.
is the big MJ plant planted in the raised bed or is it in a pot as well?

The large one is planted directly in the raised bed. The others were just outside getting some real sun, they usually reside in my tent.

Thanks McPurp. She's my first real outdoor. There is something special about outdoor weed...all that fresh air and sun...

If any one else has some "urban outdoor" going post your shots. Would love to see 'em.

I have always wanted to grow one plant outside in my backyard, but I am not on a plot of land big enough to make me feel comfortable doing that in the city.

Very nice looking plant! Looks like it enjoyed the last month of sun, and floweing up nicely now! Good work, Fruitbat!

Good morning Afrodite! Fed her some worm tea about a 1 1/2 weeks ago. She continues to fill out nicely. Apparently she's a Herer X Moroccan cross. She's vigorous, healthy and shows no signs of any maladies.

Thought I'd post some glamour shots of Afrodite taken this morning. She's maturing nicely. She does have a little way to go and I unfortunately we have a week of rain forecasted in PDX. Hopefully they are wrong and we get some more sun.

Here they are. Enjoy...

Oh, I just noticed this is my 100th post. Nice.

Gotta question. The weather is crap and will continue to be. The trichs on Afro are cloudy w/ no amber. She needs more time to fill out but I'm worried about bud mold or other maladies due to the damp.

My thought is to watch her very closely this week and if she starts taking a turn for the worse then I'll harvest her. What do you guys think? She's still looking good and healthy at this point.

push it as long as you can, but maybe a slightly longer flush so that if you have to chop it will still be good tasting??? just my two 0.02$...

Cool. I'll push it. She's still looking fine, although I did find an evil little bud worm that I immediately crushed.

I don't flush (although this rain is flushing her on it's own). I run soil w/ light organic nutes, worm castings and steer manure. Even indoor I don't flush and the results are smooth and tasty. I'm sure Hydro is different though.

even when i grow in good good momma organics (as well as when i do hydro), i *always* flush... it is a matter of personal preference, of course, but i totally feel like i can taste and FEEL the difference...

Well...I had to harvest her. Just too wet for too long. Found a little bud mold and a few bud worms but all and all she did well. Really nice dense buds.

I estimate about 1/4 lb from her after she's cured. Not bad for just planting her on a whim.

Now I'm back to indoor w/ Killing Fields and Kolossus. IMG_0802.jpgIMG_0806.jpgIMG_0801.jpg
