Upside Down Grow

Start with a feminized Sweet Tooth seed.

Sprouted and grew seedling to 3 inches before transplanting. Grew in rock wool cube.

Put small cube into a 3" square and put in upside down pot. Filled pot with Ocean Forest soil and watered.
 
so what happends when u start flowering and u water and flush?? it just runs-off all on ur bud?? might wanna re think this upside down grow..no offense :bigjoint:
 
hey i too would like to see your pics about this as you posted on my thread about this same thing, (remember?) if you want to do a side by side and bounce ideas off each other. please let me know
 
I am curious to know if this works as well?!?!

I seen one in the store the other day and immediately thought about growing bud with it.

It would be nice if the plants were never stressed, leaning over under their own weight... Very movable too I would think, never have to worry about smothering the little guys...

As of now the plant is still trying to grow up instead of towards the light. Looks like the letter J.

thats the same problem i had although mine just got fim'd(accidentally) but yes mine hasnt corrected itself any other than the tips of the leaves facing the light while everything else tries to move opposite gravity. i havent seen any improvement yet
 
you might want to veg right side up for a bit before going upside down. At least thats the way it worked with the tomatoes.
 
Update 100305: I moved the light to the back of the seedling, to the right of the J. This seemed to make the leaves turn down more as they turn towards the light, but the stem is still growing sideways.
 
this could be dumb, but what if u tie it over with like some sewing string just real fine stuff, and not a lot of tension but just enough to pull it a lil more than straight over. it could straighten it out
 
Going to use a clone instead of seedling this time and restart the trial. The leaves and stem just seem to delicate in a seedling.
Will have pictures soon.
 
Make the planter spin, the centrifugal action will keep the leaves spread apart LOL

I would let the plant get like a foot tall then hang it upside down, that should do the trick.
 
definitely like the spinning idea so I am going to include a spinner to have it spin as well, hopefully it doesn't cause any problems with watering.

If anyone has any ideas on how to keep the water of the plant when I water form the top I'd be interested in hearing their suggestions.
