@CarolinaPothead man you cool as hell you can be here all you want
Thanks! I try to be respectful. I do enjoy having people that love growing to talk to. Everyone I know around my area hat grows( if you can call planting Reggie bagseed in red clay a grow, lol. I had a dude other day tried to bring me a MALE so I could pollinate my stuff thinking we would have instant piles of ,"autoflower beans" As if, right? LoL. Like all it takes is 1 cross. Same dude swears I'm fking up not "cloning" my autos. I didn't even bother trying explaining just how complex starting a new strain is. I'm obviously not a pro with my cheap little grows but it's nice being part of a forum where alot of smart experienced growers are. BTW, Lizard 420, your plants look fine to me. Can't wait to see your harvest pics.

Shit looks frosty a.f. . She looks alot like the bagseed kush/haze cross I grew this spring, and that was some of the best shit I ever smoked and by far the best I've grown. After a decent cure you gonna be very happy. Love the fall colors.

I got a final weight on the gg4's. 102+63+84. So 249 g under 200w with alot of snags. I was surprised how fast they grew. Too bad all the pest problems. Only 1 finished and she was ugly by the end. Decent smoke. I'm getting everything ready for a photo run.

This light should compliment the other two lights I run very well in the 4*4.
:sleep:Man its been awhile since Ive been in here! Dusty, lol. Welcome btw. Hey, didnt you post on the deals thread about the Updayday light for less than$200? Is this light that light? The bar lights are getting cheaper! I saw several 250+ watt ones on Amazon for less than $200. Im sure youll be happy with it. Wife gave me the choice at Christmas but i needed beans so my money went to the ladies at NASC. Keep us posted on how everything goes eh? Happy new year!

UpDayDay has been using different tech then regular leds for awhile now. There's the voltage to the diodes change between spectrums rather then diodes being off or on, they all get used just at different power levels between veg+bloom. They have sunset/sunrise built in with built in timer. Also the cmh spec one has the vdp analysis sensors and ability but I've never used it. I'd imagine that setup would be good for someone in a tent, saving them $ on digital sensors. They also carry nice spectrums and the newest ones have several variable spectrums to choose from. Way ahead of most expensive options. All daisy chainable and can run the one as the main controller for several as they all link. Very bright with pivoting bars. Ppfd's are actually better then my HE QB's at the same wattage. Probably has allot to pivoting bars but straight down it was too. I feel the Reflectors have allot to do with the par numbers being so high. The 400w models cover a 3x4' plant well and have yielded 2# plants in a crosslit situation.
Yes, they are inexpensive and the connections or aluminum hooks that link the cmh spec light power supply to the bars are thin and can snap if pressuring them crooked but that's about it. Military time can be a bitch but you only need to do it once in order for sunset/sunrise to function. It held the time and continued to work even when I connected it to the main timer. Must have a rechargeable battery in there.
They're pretty high tech, service is good too. These are the nicest inexpensive leds I've ever grown with.
I'm glad to see this thread here if I haven't said it already! Nice work growers! :clap:20211025_154029.jpg20211020_093620.jpg20211025_154047.jpg20211025_160554.jpg20211025_164019.jpg

Thank you. Happy new year to you too.
Yeah I believe the original light is the one I posted but they've released a few different models since then. I'm actually trying to see what you guys have been able to do with their lights.

@Lizard0420 Thank you, I can't wait to try it out.

Does anyone know how to adjust the timer feature on the UA5000 to run 24hrs on with no dark period? Also, how to run on/off with an external timer on a strip that I have other lights on in the same area?

The manual is not super clear about the meaning of the #1 and #2 timer settings on the display. I'm trying #1 at 24hrs and #2 at 0hrs, but not sure if that's the correct setting for what I want it to do.

I got an updayday ua5000 for 185usd using a discount code on the deals thread. I hung it up and turned it on in Sun spectrum mode. I definitely like the light. At the discounted price it's a good deal. Just trying to figure out the settings.

I'll appreciate any tips and tricks.
