*Update- Week 4 veg. I switched to flowering today at approx. 20in. in height. I reset the timers to accommodate the 12/12 light cycle. Also, I switched out the light spectrum from mH to hps. I switched out the nutrients from floranova grow to floranova bloom; I will only introduce FF tigerbloom when I first see the white pistils. Note, the difference in color of the light:

Yur screens pretty big. I assume you don plan to fill it?

No, the screens are 2x2in. in re.. to the area it takes up It should easily be able to fill it with 15 plants. -Keep in mind plants often triple in size during flowering

Is the purps a sativa strain? Havent heard of it. Sativas tend to stretch alot during flower, thou, depeding on factors, stretch can be reduced or exaggerated.

Hmm i assumed. Ive yet to come across an indica that stretched 3x. Most indicas ive grown hardly stretched at all, 2x at most.
Oh well, the stretch is part of the fun. I got some sativas ive never grown in a 4ft vert grow. Flowering them at 1ft jus to be safe the first time thru. Thou i don expect the 4x stretch ive heard from this strain cause i veg using GLR.

Hm quick rough math.
20"x20" plant = 2.78ft^2
2.78 x 10 plants =
27.8ft^2 of total plant matter.
100ft^2 (10x10)/27.8 = ~3.56
So your plants wud need to grow 3.5x the total size to cover 10x10. But you only have the top of each plant in the screen at flower.
Of course, these numbers may mean nothin. Especially since some is a guesstimate and plants don grow equally.
Jus tryna help since as i said, im kind in yo same boat. Guessin at stretch.

I grow indica almost exclusively and they do tend to stretch. A 3 foot plant befor flip will be close to 5 when done. I have had 3 foot stretches and that is not uncommon. Since I flipped my tents my OG Kush has stretched almost a foot in tent one and the second tent with same strain same thing they are stretching but the second tent them plants are grown a la natural and I expect them to stretch a lot.

Still from 3 to 5 feet isnt even 2x. If yur 3ft indica tripled in height, yu may run into some issues lol
In retrospect, yud have a nice fat yield off yur 9ft plant haha

Never got a nine foot plant only see pic's of outdoor grown weed that big. My average in my tents is just under 6 feet but thats bending and tucking and all that shit otherwise they outgrow my tents.

I think OP is doing right by putting that size in, better to have then to want is my motto! Only thing I may have done is start training a while back but by no means an expert in the art of SCROG. And as far as stretch, grow out a white russian and be amazed lol the thing stretches to the sky. Thought I was gonna have to slay a giant!! I've had a few strains stretch 3x. I can only veg for 20-25 days without running into issues with my setup.

Hey its me Playermic here to give you a update on the purp grow; Im in week 4 right now flowering plants appear to be getting very sugar coated (although its hard to see in this spectrum). super sticky and they.. smell like you walked into a welchs factory and stood next to a grape vat..
