Just updating those paying attention to my grow, I'm 6 weeks into bloom. I've had some humidity issues but I bought a 30 pint dehumidifier for 140$ that I empty about twice a day. I'm thinking to seal my room but don't know how exactly I'd go about doing it. I know I'd need to duct my light intake out. But do I still run my intake 24 hrs? And what happens with the air I intake? How much CO2 would I need? A nearby grow store has a CO2 kit for 240$, comes with a CO2 tank and regulator, very fair price. Also, how am I going to heat this room in the winter? I'm growing in a garage with minimal insulation it gets very cold in the winter. I am thinking to buy a space heater and put it next to my intake, what do you guys think?

Specs:
7x8x8 Framed, insulated and walled room.
1000w Digital Greenhouse Ballast + Growbright Bulb + 27"x33" Air-cooled Big Kahuna Reflector from HTG (440$ combo)
vegged under 8 bulb 4 foot T5 with mixed grow/bloom spectrum for 2.5 months.
8" 590 CFM fan that exhausts my room by sucking through my light and exhausting into my garage
8" 471 CFM Activeair duct booster is my intake, intakes fresh air from my garage
Two 16" Ecoplus circulation fans.
One 5,000 BTU window AC unit
One 30-pint dehumidifier

Strains (starting from fav to least fav):
1- TGA Jack The Ripper
1- Emerald Triangle Seeds Emerald Jack
1- Seedsman Seeds White Widow
2x "Da Purps" that were clones.. the rest were seeds.

Nutrients:
I'm using most of the GH stuff, I didn't know about organic and EDTA before this grow and may choose to do organic next time.
FloraNova Bloom
Liquid Koolbloom
Florablend at 10ml/gal throughout veg too
Floralicious Plus at 1ml/gal throughout veg too
FloraNectar Banana Bliss (throughout veg too)
Gave em all two doses of Mykos WP by Xtreme Gardening one in veg and one right at the transition and the roots loved it. I hope to go organic to use the full potential of these microbes and beneficial bacteria

I did not use Floralicious Bloom or Diamond Nectar.

Ones I just put in bloom (1-2 weeks ago)
1 - DNA Genetics Chocolope unique indica pheno that was stunted badly during germ and wouldn't clone
1- Greenhouse Super bud, been in bloom for 2 weeks now

So, last two weeks. What can I do to supplement them? I'll try anything you guys tell me to improve my ladies at this crucial stage, someone told me start using molasses but Floranectar contains plenty of sugar cane and molasses so I don't think its necessary.

**aahh no c02? might wanna pick some up ;)

How much CO2 would I need? --900/1300ppm+ should be fine :)

I am exhausting 24/7 with that 590 cfm fan, I don't know if it'd be wise/effective to use CO2.. the tank and regulator are 240$ but the damn ppm monitor is 220$.

*a cheaper alt would be those platic buckets of C02.. ive seen them around, white buckets w/ C02 on the side of them.. (its really gonna be hard maintaining any sort of c02 lvls if your venting out)

so yeah I'd need to seal it, or I could try those co2 buckets. I seen some at my local grow store...

http://www.co2boost.com/ these ones exactly. I don't know if they work but they were in stock so whoever is selling them must have convinced SOMEone.. right?

wow 120$ though at monstergardens.. ill see what my hydro store has them for tomorrow.

*just saw the link,... says last for the whole bloom cycle.. wont hurt to try.. tho wish they charged a bit lower for it :) ..it will certainly help if you have a properly sealed room.. tho its not easy.. and its never 100% sealed ;)

well here's the thing.. about 10 feet from the intake is a window and i have one fan exhausting and one fan intaking air at that window so the air is constantly renewed with fresh outdoor air. I think they get plenty of CO2.. I should buy one of those one time co2 testers from hydrofarm for like 15$ (http://www.hydrofarm.com/pb_detail.php?itemid=7108) to get a reading of my co2 ppm instead of paying 200$ just to have a rough estimate with this: http://www.amazon.com/C-A-P-Custom-Automated-Products-Detection/dp/B00480H93O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1316098907&sr=8-1

Are there any products I should start using?

I plan to flush with FloraKleen 4-5 days before harvest and use nutes up until then.. I do feed + water + water and water every 2 days, sometimes 3. Florakleen is GH's flushing product...

Someone suggested using silica blast or hygrozyme/sensizym. I'm not using any silica products now and apparently it adds dry weight, not using any enzymes either. What do you guys think?

Damn RIU, it's been cold the last couple days, my AC has barely turned on. In fact, I've turned my garage window fan to low to minimize air exchange between the garage and outside. I think turning this off and closing my garage window would be a good way to keep heat in but I am afraid it will decrease CO2 and hurt yield, will it? I've decided to leave the window open, window fan in, on "low" in the meantime. I've bought a space heater for 20$ as a temporary solution. I turn it on next to my intake outside of my room to intake warm air, I need to upgrade to one with a thermostat and auto shut-off. These things use 1,500W though.. that's a lot. At least I can set a timer to shut it off when my light turns on.. the problem is my lights turn on at night and my exhaust fan cools my light TOO well, I am afraid the space heater will have to run 24/7. Maybe I should get a fan speed controller and turn it down from 590cfm? The room is only 450 cubic feet. Help me RIU! ...my garage is un-insulated btw. My room is very insulated though (r13 all around).

Going to take some pics from my garage.. showing my room during the day when my ladies sleep.
riu1.jpgriu3.jpgriu2.jpg

first pic shows my intake and the space heater, 2nd shows where my room exhausts and where I assume the air seeps out on the roof 3rd pic shows my window fan where i get fresh air with panda film and a carbon filter sheet over the exhaust blade

Space heater is off and the room is perfect right now 71 degrees and 43% rh... but when temp drops tonight we'll see. it's 61 outside, so my room is giving me 10 degrees of insulation over outside... garage temp is about 71 too, I really should insulate my garage but I have no money for that right now, I think the best results and electricity savings will come from insulating my garage this winter.
